Rice: 300 g

Fresh or our canned fava beans: 150 g

Oil or butter: 3 tbsp

Saffron (brewed): 2 tbsp

Salt: to taste

Dill (optional): 1 tbsp
Instructions

Prepare the rice
Wash rice and soak in water with a pinch of salt for 30 minutes. -
Cook the fava beans
If using our canned fava beans, drain and set aside. -
Cook the rice
Boil water and cook rice (either by draining method or steaming). -
Combine rice and fava beans
Mix semi-cooked rice with fava beans. Add a little oil or butter and brewed saffron. -
Steam
Place the mixture in a pot and steam on low heat for 20–30 minutes to let the flavors blend. -
Serve
Garnish with dill or saffron and serve. Each bite delivers the real flavor of our fresh canned fava beans!
